We are primarily operating via telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of our clinicians are offering in person sessions under certain circumstances. Our administrative staff will discuss the availability of in person treatment at the time of scheduling.
We use a variety of HIPAA compliant telehealth platforms to deliver services. All of our tools are secure and meet HIPAA requirements for privacy and confidentiality.
We have delivered thousands of telehealth sessions since the beginning of the pandemic. It is an effective means of providing treatment and in many ways makes things easier since it eliminates the need to travel to the office.
For an effective telehealth session, please ensure:
• You are in a quiet, private environment
• A spot with good lighting. Avoid sitting with your back to a window because it tends to darken your image
• You have a strong internet connection – WIFI is preferred over cellular
• Check your webcam, sound, volume, and microphone to make sure your equipment is operational
For those that visit us in person, we do require staff and clients to wear masks at all times. We are cleaning high traffic areas throughout the day and disinfecting the therapy offices in between sessions.
Please alert staff if you have experienced any symptoms or if you have been exposed to someone who has been infected prior to visiting the office so that we can make other arrangements for your appointment.
