Grace Pool (She/They) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in North Carolina. They earned a Masters of Counseling in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy from Adler Graduate School in 2022 after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota in 2017. Grace has worked in the mental health field since 2016 in various different roles including intensive in-home therapy, outpatient therapy, and ABA day treatment. Grace believes that taking care of one’s mental health isn’t something anyone should have to navigate all alone and everyone deserves to have access to support that works for them. Through therapy, Grace will work with you on deepening your self-awareness and self-compassion so you can harness your personal power for healing already within you. You will get to decide what you want out of therapy and Grace will be a gentle supporter, guiding you at your own pace.
Grace believes in a holistic treatment model that focuses on the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She borrows techniques from Adlerian theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) while always working from a trauma-informed lens. In session with Grace, you will be met with encouragement, acceptance, and genuine care as you explore whatever is feeling resonant for you moment to moment.
Grace is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and struggles with self-identity, body-image and self-esteem. They also love working with neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ folks.
