Melissa Margolin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both the private and public sector. She has lived in the Asheville are for over a decade and earned her MSW from Western Carolina University in 2017. Much of her experience is in working with clients who have a trauma history, depression, anxiety, attachment issues and personality disorders. She provides both individual and family therapy.
Her goal as a clinician is to empower her clients to envision the life they want to live and work towards that vision. She believes we are all more resilient than we give ourselves credit for, and her strengths-based approach focuses on that resiliency and strength to heal and grow. In her free time, Melissa enjoys puttering in her garden, hiking with her family, and exploring.
