“I view therapy as a road trip. You are the driver. I will be with you as a passenger along for your journey. You can drive as fast or as slow as you like. You can take as many rest breaks as needed. There is more than one way to reach your destination. I will be there for support and guidance but you will be in control of your journey. I am honored and humbled to be present with you.”
