I am a dedicated and compassionate clinical mental health counseling intern
committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards improved mental
well-being. With a strong foundation in psychology and counseling techniques, I am
passionate about providing empathetic and nonjudgmental support to clients facing
various mental health challenges.
Education & Training: I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health
counseling from North Carolina A&T State University. Throughout my academic journey,
I have gained a working understanding of psychological theories, counseling
approaches, and ethical principles essential for effective therapeutic practice.
Areas of Interest: I am particularly interested in working with individuals experiencing
problems with anxiety, depression, boundary setting, coping skills, school/college, life
transition, stress management. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space
where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while empowering
them to make positive changes in their lives.
Professional Philosophy: I believe in the importance of holistic and client-centered care,
tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs and goals of each
individual. I am passionate about working to design a safe environment for my clients
where they can feel encouraged to be their authentic self. Through collaboration,
empathy, and cultural humility, I strive to cultivate meaningful therapeutic relationships
that promote healing and personal growth.
Future Goals: As I continue to grow and develop in my counseling career, my ultimate
goal is to facilitate positive change and promote well-being in their clients’ lives through
fostering self-awareness, insight, and resilience.
