Erika is passionate about walking alongside others on their journey toward healing and mental
well-being. With more than seven years of clinical mental health experience and over 20 years in
social work, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families reach their goals
and full potential. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from North Carolina
Wesleyan College and her Master of Social Work from East Carolina University.
Throughout her career, Erika has provided counseling to people from diverse backgrounds. She
enjoys supporting young adults (18+) and older adults, and she currently has a focus on working
with leaders and professionals, including those in mental health, healthcare, education, law, and
ministry. Her clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused
Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.
Erika specializes in helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, high-stress lifestyles, life
transitions, and behavioral change. She is committed to creating a safe,
compassionate, and client-centered space that promotes authenticity, accountability, and personal
growth.
Outside of her work, Erika enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and
embracing her new journey in physical fitness and self-care. She believes that caring for herself
allows her to bring her best self to the work she loves. One of her guiding quotes is from Lao
Tzu: “Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom.”
