Toni Terjesen moved from Long Island NY, to Charlotte NC in November 2022. Toni attended Hofstra University and Fordham University during her college career, and has four college degrees; B.A. in Psychology, A.S. in Early Childhood Education, M.S.Ed. in Education, and an M.S.W. in Social Work.

Toni is currently licensed to practice social work in NC as an LCSWA, and in NY as an LMSW.

Toni has been practicing social work for 11 years, and has worked in the field of education for over 20 years. Toni’s preferred age range for clients is children ages 4 to 12, in addition to individuals, adults and families needing emotional support and parenting education. Toni has taken extensive continuing education courses in play therapy and trauma treatment. Toni is skilled in the areas of ASD, ADHD and behavior management. Toni is also a Trained Provider for Military Focused Care.

In Toni’s spare time, Toni likes to spend time with her husband, 2 children, and newly adopted Golden Pyrenees. Toni is an avid reader and loves all things involving Fall, books and coffee.
