Addison (She/Her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate
(LCMHCA) in North Carolina. Addison received her Masters of Science in Clinical
Mental Health Counseling from The University of Tennessee staying at the same
university where she received her Bachelors of Science in Child and Family Studies.
Addison has her therapeutic foundation in Person-Centered Therapy but believes that
with each unique client comes a unique stylistic approach to counseling. Through a
collaborative process with clients she creates goals and determines strategies that are
unique to the presenting concerns of each client. While Addison has a therapeutic
foundation and believes in an integrative approach, she prefers to draw from CBT,
Feminist, and Relational theories using techniques such as Art Therapy and Somatic
exercises.

Addison works with clients of all ages (5 and up). Addison is passionate about using her
background in human development and family systems in the therapy space with
children, adolescents, and parents. Addison will work with clients across a spectrum of
diagnosis but is especially passionate about working with clients with Anxiety, ADHD,
and Autism. Along with this, Addison also feels strongly about working with anyone who
is LGBTQIA+ identified.

Outside of work Addison loves to watch and review movies, do things outside such as
hiking, explore a city’s local coffee scene, and support her favorite soccer teams
(Sunderland and Charlotte FC).
