Andrew Dwyer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Western Carolina University (2019),  as well as a Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate, capable of treating a range of addictions.

Andrew enjoys working with adults of all ages, but has a strong interest in couples therapy, including work with those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Their clinical experience includes treating common concerns such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress. To treat these disorders, Andrew uses modalities with an evidence base, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems. Andrew has extensive experience treating ADHD, with particular interest in how it affects the dynamics of couples. He has a special interest in working with older adults (those 65 and older).

Outside his practice, He makes time to spend time with his wife and dog, stays active, practices qigong, plays music, and reads for professional insight, as well as personal growth and pleasure.
