Cayla earned her master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina Aiken and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston. She is currently pursuing her Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) licensure in North Carolina and completing her internship at Matone Counseling and Testing.
Her clinical experience includes working with children with autism spectrum disorder, implementing individualized treatment plans under supervision, and supporting adolescents through her assistantship at the Department of Juvenile Justice. Cayla especially enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. She has a strong passion for psychological assessment, valuing the opportunity to help individuals gain insight into themselves and connect with the resources and treatment that best meet their needs.
In her free time, Cayla enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and baking—especially sourdough. She also loves relaxing with her playful kitten, Callie.
