Dr. Jameice (she/her) is a psychologist at Matone Counseling. She earned her bachelor’s degree from
Virginia Tech, where she was also a Division I All-American athlete in track and field. Dr. Jameice
obtained her master’s in public health from Thomas Jefferson University, followed by a master’s and
doctorate in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her

extensive experience working with diverse populations.
Dr. Jameice specializes in performance psychology particularly with athletes, trauma related disorders,
adjustment challenges, anxiety, and depression and believes in using an integrative and systems
approach to therapy, recognizing that each person is unique along with their therapeutic needs. She
believes there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy adjusts her therapeutic orientation to the
individual’s needs. Additionally, she believes in helping her clients explore patterns in their emotions,
thoughts, and behaviors while also considering the broader systems that shape their experiences. She
aims to create a therapeutic space that is both affirming and challenging—where clients feel seen,
supported, and empowered to navigate their personal journeys. With a deep commitment to supporting her clients, Dr. Jameice is also skilled in psychological assessment, offering comprehensive evaluations to support diagnostic clarity and treatment planning.
Outside of work, Dr. Jameice enjoys staying active, watching Martin, Modern Family, The Office, or King
of Queens, and spending quality time with her family and friends by either traveling or trying out
different restaurants. As a proud mom, she loves embracing motherhood and finding balance in her
personal and professional life.
