Kirby Patton is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She received a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Before this, she earned two bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

As a clinician, Kirby has six years of direct counseling experience working with adults aged 21 and up. Her experience includes working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, anger, life changes, career changes, and lack of purpose. Through a Person-Centered approach, Kirby aims to empower individuals and support them through life’s challenges. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to engage and collaborate with individuals to reach their goals.

In her spare time, Kirby enjoys hiking in Western North Carolina, exploring new restaurants, crocheting, and painting. She has two pets, a cat named Atlas and a pit bull rescue named Dea.
