Kiri earned her Master of Science in Education- Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western
Illinois University. She is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Florida
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has been practicing
since 2018.
Kiri has experience working with children, teens, adults, later in life adults, as well as their families.
Currently serving ages 14+, much of her practice is driven from an Adlerian approach, which
emphasizes the importance of social interest, or a feeling of connectedness and empathy
towards others, and the unique lifestyle each individual develops based on their early
experiences and beliefs. This encourages opportunity for both client and clinician to work together
collaboratively to reach new understanding and develop paths for change. This process of aligning
allows opportunity for support and skill building to occur simultaneously to promote sustained
growth.
Kiri provides therapy in many areas, and current areas of interest include management and
understanding of anxiety, companioning through grief, parenting support and education, as well as
exploration and balance in transitioning through phases of life.
