Rachel is an Associate Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University. She has been practicing for one year, initially as an intern, and recently became a licensed mental health counselor. She is currently licensed only in North Carolina with hope to expand to other states. 

Rachel works with individuals facing a variety of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, job-related stress, major life transitions, and relationship or family concerns. She primarily works with clients aged 12 and up and has a special interest in supporting couples and individuals navigating relational issues. Her counseling style blends evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Choice Theory with a person-centered, empathetic approach. Rachel has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and integrates this framework into her relational work. She also holds a certification in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally, she holds a certification in Marriage and Family Therapy. 

Outside of the therapy room, Rachel enjoys playing the ukulele, spending time with her beloved dogs, binge-watching the Harry Potter movies, and getting lost in a good manga series. Clients often appreciate her down-to-earth style, compassionate presence, and ability to make therapy feel both meaningful and approachable.
