Raven Patterson, Ed.S., LPA, HSP-PA, NCSP, is a Licensed Psychological Associate and Health Services Provider who earned her Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees in School Psychology from Georgia Southern University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Winston-Salem State University. Raven has been practicing in the mental health field since 2020, with experience spanning public schools and private practice. She is a licensed psychological associate in North Carolina and is also licensed to practice as a school psychologist in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Missouri, and Georgia.
Raven’s clinical background centers on psychological assessment, diagnostic reporting, and evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents. She specializes in supporting individuals with learning and mental health disabilities, including ADHD, Autism, and traumatic brain injury. Raven is certified by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) after completing specialized training to conduct evaluations for individuals suspected of having a traumatic brain injury. Her practice emphasizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and functional behavioral analysis, and she is trained in crisis response (PREPaRE), Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, and vision acuity assessment. Raven is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and has extensive experience advocating for educational rights, diversity, and inclusion within school systems.
Outside of her professional work, Raven enjoys hiking, studying bees, exploring local swimming holes, and searching for old furniture at estate sales. She is passionate about nature and community engagement, and finds inspiration in the outdoors and local history.
