I believe we are our stories, and I am guided by the value of storytelling as a way for us to find balance and connect with ourselves, others, and our environment. We have the capacity to be flexible in how we think about ourselves. You’re the best person to guide this path; I’m just a compassionate helper here to honor your dignity and worth in a calm, supportive space.
I’m here for you, whether you’re struggling with insomnia, anxiety, depression, self-doubt, loneliness, and life transitions, including grief and loss. Although I love working with all gender identities, much of my work is with men. Maybe you need help managing intense emotions, self-esteem, ED, and gaining meaningful relationships while balancing a busy life.
In addition to a person-centered approach, I bring extensive training and experience in Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)… That last one is super important — a good night’s rest makes life far more manageable (amiright?).
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years as a journalist and writer. This influences my work philosophically as we break down meaning and purpose, and technically as we journal for insight.
I’m available for virtual and in-person sessions, and I’m interested in hearing your story and helping you find peace and contentment.
