Dr. Stephanie Cojocaru is a Clinical Psychologist with a background in assessment and intervention. She graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2015 with her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship training with the Department of Veterans Affairs. During her time at the VA, she became a national consultant for Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression (IPT-D), which is an evidence-based treatment for depression and trauma. Additionally, Dr. Cojocaru participated in organizational development consulting responsibilities while at the VA, and this led her to develop a niche specificality within this domain, and she now provides consulting services to Fortune 500 companies nationwide.
Dr. Cojocaru believes in a comprehensive and collaborative approach to care and works with individuals (15+), couples, and families who may be going through a variety of challenges, such as grief, loss, depression, trauma, anxiety, phobias, or personality disorders. She specializes in providing assessment services to individuals (15+) who may be experiencing challenges associated with ADHD, ASD, personality disorders, as well as mood-related diagnoses. Whether Dr. Cojocaru is providing therapy or assessment services, she believes in empowering everyone to take charge of their mental health and well-being.
In her free time, she enjoys distance running and training for marathons. Aside from running, she also enjoys cooking, spending time with her dogs, riding motorcycles, and reading and writing about mental health.
