Taylor is a Masters-level Clinical Mental Health graduate student at Gardner-Webb University. Along the way of pursuing her career dream to become a Mental Health Therapist, she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wingate University. Taylor has experience in working with disordered eating, anxiety, depression, and more.
Taylor views therapy as a key element in growing an individual’s all-around well-being. While we are all human and may experience times of distress, it is important to understand your own unique journey towards personal growth and learn to cope with challenges you encounter along the way. As a counseling intern and budding therapist, Taylor’s hope is to provide you with the safe space and compassion needed to achieve your goals.
“Every story matters…We are all worthy of telling our stories and having them heard. We all need to be seen and honored in the same way that we all need to breathe.” – Brene Brown
Counseling is not a journey you will have to walk alone but one that will come with support along the way. Taylor meets each client where they are at and utilizes an approach according to what will best fit the client’s individual needs.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time immersing herself into the fictional world of books and visiting every local coffee shop (frequently).
