Daniel Crow is a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate with a Ph.D. in philosophy and a Master’s in Counseling from Wake Forest University. Before transitioning to a career as a counselor, Daniel worked as a philosophy professor. He realized that he enjoyed counseling his students more than teaching them and that amateur counseling was how he was actually spending his time. So, never one to shy away from education, Daniel returned to school to become a professional.

Like most counselors, Daniel draws from multiple theoretical orientations depending on the personality and needs of the client. In his eclectic approach, however, he favors Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. He is often joined in counseling sessions by his certified therapy dog, Twirl, who has her own webpage.

Daniel specializes in anxiety disorders, life transitions, and difficult decisions. Given his background, it is no surprise that many of his clients are college students or academics. But he enjoys working with clients at all stages of the lifespan (typically 16 and older), and he would be honored to be invited into this next stage of your journey.
